Departing from Bilbao, the San Sebastian Day Trip takes you along the North Atlantic Basque Coast of Spain. First we’ll stop, for instance – on the cliffs above Barrika. Here you will see some Spectacular geological formations. After another short stop at the Castillon de Butron, we’ll drive to San Juan De Gaztelugatxe. This island is spectacular – it was used during the filming of Game of Thrones! After this we’ll visit Bermeo and Mundaka. These 2 Basque fishing ports are lovely and enchanting. Mundaka is home to a world-famous surfing spot.
San Sebastian Day Trip
From here we make our way to San Sebastian. After an introductory driving tour of the city, we’ll drive up to the Monte Igueldo. The view over the city is spectacular. After that we’ll head to the City’s Historic Center – the “Parte Vieja”. This is where you’ll find some of the best tapas bars in the city!
On the way back to Bilbao, on the other hand – we’ll take the scenic route along the rugged Basque coast from Zarautz to Zumaia – its spectacular!
